Alex studied a BTEC in Surveying and Architecture alongside A Levels at Petroc, following this she moved to Bristol to study Building Surveying at the University of the West of England.

 

During her final year she secured a job at a local surveying practice in Barnstaple. Having worked there for over two years she discovered a passion for architectural services through the production of planning drawings using CAD.

Following this she moved to a planning consultancy based in Bideford, where she was the sole plan drawer and became involved in the preparation and submission of planning applications.

She has been involved in a wide range of projects, including domestic extensions, agricultural developments and large residential developments. 

​

Alex enjoys being outdoors spending time with her husband and daughter, riding her horse, walking the dogs and helping her husband on his family’s farm. 

​

We feel that Alex's experience and hobbies find her well equipped to deal with a variety of projects.
